Headphone guides
Check what works with your phone and laptop before paying for a feature you can't use. These guides explain the limits by model and link to the full reviews.

Which guide do you need?
Start with LDAC and multipoint if you want high-bitrate Bluetooth on Android and two devices at once. Soundcore says LDAC and two-device pairing don't run together on the Space One and Space One Pro, and the guide explains what that costs you.
Shopping the Soundcore range? The Q20 models guide separates the Q20 2024 from the Q20i by model number, and the Q30 revision guide shows how to tell which Q30 revision you're buying. For a direct spec comparison of the two, see Q20i vs Q30.
Spec figures on these pages come from the makers' own product pages and carry the date I checked them.
GuideCan you use LDAC and multipoint at the same time?
The Baseus Inspire XH1 can keep LDAC on with two devices connected. The Space Q45, Space One, Space One Pro, Sony XM4 and ULT WEAR make you choose.
GuideSoundcore Q30 Upgraded vs Original
The current Q30 has Bluetooth 5.3 and a 50-hour ANC battery claim. Older reviews describe a different revision. I'd buy by price and box contents, not the Upgraded label.
GuideSoundcore Q20 2024 vs Q20i and the other Q20 models
The USB-C Life Q20 refresh and Q20i both offer app EQ and two-device pairing. The old micro-USB Q20 doesn't. Check the model and port before buying the cheapest listing.
GuideThe Best Budget Open-Ear Headphones for When You Want Your Ears Open
For a second pair next to your over-ear headphones, I'd buy the OPN Sound Mezzo+ ($69.95 at OPN Sound on October 24, 2026). The $34.95 Aperto is the cheapest pick, and the Shokz OpenRun is my pick for runners.
GuideThe Best Edifier Headphones I'd Buy at Every Price
The W830NB is the Edifier pair I'd buy, with LDAC, AAC, multipoint and a 54-hour ANC-on claim for $79.99 at Edifier US on October 24, 2026. With $50 to spend at Edifier, I'd get the W800BT Pro.
GuideWhich OPN Sound Headphones Should You Buy?
I'd buy the OPN Sound Mezzo+ for workouts and the Aria Pro for everyday listening, both $69.95 at opnsound.com on October 24, 2026. Shokz costs more and has far more independent testing behind it.
If you don't know where to start, my best budget headphones guide ranks every pair I recommend by price and use.
