I’d pay the extra for the Soundcore Space One Pro only if you need the 8-hours-from-5-minutes charge, the folding frame or the extra call mics. Otherwise the base Space One covers the same noise cancelling idea for about half the list price. The Pro’s own page gives up two-device LDAC, and it’s 21 g heavier.

The spec table comes from Soundcore’s own US pages, checked October 19, 2026, and those figures are claims, not measurements. The sections after it cover how the two compare in use, and the lab battery runs that exist for each. For lab results and a head-to-head with a cheaper rival, see my Baseus Inspire XH1 vs Space One Pro page.

Soundcore’s Pro page still carried a Prime Big Deal banner from early October when I checked, so I show list prices only. Street prices change, and the Oct 9 prices I recorded are on the XH1 comparison. When I rechecked on October 22, soundcore.com had the Space One at $99.99 and the Pro at $139.99.

What you get for the extra $100

Charging is the clearest upgrade on paper. Both claim 40 hours with ANC on, but the Pro lists 8 hours from a 5-minute charge and the base model lists 4. If you forget to charge before a trip, that gap matters.

The Pro also lists 6 mics for ANC, a fourth call mic, a folding frame and HearID 2.0. The Space One keeps wear detection, which the Pro’s page doesn’t list, and it weighs 21.2 g less.

The two-device behavior is the quirk to read before you buy. On the Space One, the first device that starts playing keeps the connection. On the Pro, the headphones follow whichever device played last, which suits switching from laptop to phone. If you want LDAC on Android, you give up two-device pairing on either pair, as I explain in my LDAC and multipoint guide.

Which is more comfortable?

The Space One, for most heads. It’s the lighter pair, it clamps with a neutral, gentle pressure, and its pads are deeper, so ears that stick out have more room. Its leatherette also feels softer, almost like soft-touch silicone, where the Pro’s feels more synthetic. You notice the lighter weight most when you walk around or lie back in bed.

The Pro clamps a little firmer and its pads are shallower. That makes it the steadier pair for a brisk walk or the gym, and it feels denser and sturdier in the hand, while the Space One’s plastic feels flimsier. Both have big pad openings for large ears, and both wobble a little at the hinges.

Which cancels noise better?

The Pro, by a small margin. Side by side it blocks a little more, mostly in the higher frequencies such as voices and clatter, and its ambient mode sounds more natural. Both create a bit more ear pressure than premium pairs that block the same noise, which bothers some people on long flights. Both mic arrays handle wind well when you walk outdoors.

Which sounds better?

The Pro. Both lean on bass and vocals, and neither separates instruments especially well. The Space One’s bass booms and can muddy the rest of a track, and its highs sound harsher. The Pro keeps its bass in check and sounds more balanced. Both apps have presets and a custom EQ, so you can tame either.

Wear detection, Easy Chat and calls

Only the Space One pauses when you take it off, which matches Soundcore’s spec pages. It also lets you cover the left cup to start Easy Chat, which lowers your music and lets voices in, and let go to end it. On the Pro, Easy Chat starts by voice and ends on a timer, so it’s easier to trigger by accident.

For calls, both cut road noise well. The Pro’s mic sounds a little clearer in a quiet room.

Battery: what the labs measured

Claimed vs lab-measured battery · Open full size

Both claim 40 hours with ANC on. The Space One ran 42 hours 57 minutes in SoundGuys testing, and the Pro ran 36.1 hours in RTINGS testing. The two labs use different test rigs, so treat that gap as a hint, not a verdict. The Space 2 outlasted both.

Which should you buy?

Buy the Space One if you want a lighter pair and wear detection, and you rarely use LDAC. Buy the Space One Pro if you travel, fold the headphones into a bag, want the faster charge and prefer the more balanced sound. If the Pro is near $140, as it was on October 9 and still was on October 22, the gap narrows to about $40 to $60 over the Space One.

Soundcore also launched the Space 2 Pro ($199.99 at soundcore.com) in the US in September 2026. Some coverage calls it the Space One Pro’s replacement, but Soundcore’s own page doesn’t, and its audio landed in the bottom 10% in SoundGuys testing, so I wouldn’t pay $60 more than the Space One Pro for it yet. If you’d rather have the newer, lighter Space 2, which lasted longer than either in lab tests, read my Soundcore Space 2 review. If you’re weighing other brands, the Soundcore Space Q45 review and the Q20i vs Q30 page cover cheaper options.

Questions people ask

What is the difference between the Soundcore Space One and Space One Pro?

Soundcore lists the Pro with 6 ANC mics, 4 call mics, HearID 2.0, 5 minutes of charging for 8 hours and a FlexiCurve fold. The Space One lists 3 call mics, HearID and 5 minutes for 4 hours.

Which is lighter, the Space One or the Space One Pro?

The Space One. Soundcore lists 265 g for it and 286.2 g for the Pro.

Do both Soundcore headphones support LDAC with two devices?

No. Soundcore's pages say LDAC and two-device pairing don't run together on either pair. The Pro adds that LDAC and its Dolby effect are mutually exclusive.

Does the Space One Pro have better noise cancelling than the Space One?

A little. Side by side, the Pro blocks slightly more, mostly in the higher frequencies, and its ambient mode sounds more natural. Both build a bit more ear pressure than premium pairs do.

Is the Space One or the Space One Pro more comfortable?

The Space One for most people. It's about 21 g lighter, clamps more gently and has deeper pads, which helps if your ears stick out. The Pro clamps a little firmer, so it stays put better on a walk or at the gym.

Do the Space One and Space One Pro pair to two devices the same way?

No. Soundcore describes the Space One as keeping the device that started playing first, and the Space One Pro as switching to the device that played last.

Baseus Inspire XH1 vs Soundcore Space One Pro

I'd buy the Baseus Inspire XH1 at October 2026 prices. It costs about $40 less, lasts longer per charge and keeps your voice steadier on quiet-room calls. Pay about $140 for the Soundcore Space One Pro only if lab-measured noise cancelling and a compact fold top your list.

    Guide

Can you use LDAC and multipoint at the same time?

The Baseus Inspire XH1 can keep LDAC on with two devices connected. The Space Q45, Space One, Space One Pro, Sony XM4 and ULT WEAR make you choose.

Soundcore Space Q45 Review: Is It Good Value?

Yes, if you buy it renewed for about $100. New US stock is gone, but the Soundcore Space Q45 still has the strongest noise cancelling in the budget class. Above $100, I'd buy a new Soundcore Space 2 instead.

    Soundcore Q20i vs Q30

On paper the Q20i and Q30 are close. The Q30 lists a second call mic and a heavier build, and Soundcore's pages disagree with themselves on both batteries. Decide on street price.
