For most people, $50 to $100 is the sweet spot for wireless over-ear headphones. In that band you get working noise cancelling, 30 hours or more of battery and an app with an EQ.
Under $50 you can still find good pairs, but noise cancelling gets weaker or disappears and build quality drops. Between $100 and $200 you pay for stronger noise cancelling, better mics and extras like LDAC or multipoint. Above $250 you’re in flagship territory, which makes sense for frequent flyers and people who take calls all day.
Street prices matter more than list prices here. Plenty of headphones with a $150 to $180 list price sell for $100 or less most of the year, so check the going rate before you buy.
